With a unique selection of highly stylized apparel, Burpo's enjoys the long standing patronage of distinguished Bloomington ladies.
The Phoenix Building was named by David Davis, for being the first building rebuilt after the Great Fire of 1855.

106 W. Washington St. is highly significant in the history of Abraham Lincoln.

Lincoln himself wrote that Davis was first to suggest he run for President in the second floor office of this gracious building.

Though they're not publicly accessible, it's interesting to climb the same oak staircase Honest Abe used when he rode the law circuit in Illinois.

Nobody realizes how many beautiful flats, lofts and luxury apartments are hidden inside old, Downtown Bloomington Buildings.
