Run for many, many years as the Oyster and Chop House of Bloomington, this establishment made use of the nearby rail station and Inter City Express train to import fresh seafood from the Gulf and patrons from all over.
It was famous for Steaks, Oysters and Chops on the first floor. It was also reputedly infamous for gambling on the second and other entertainment on the third.
The tear down and reconstruction of this structure revealed some interesting and amusing artifacts.
You'd have to see it to believe it. This is truly one of the most elegant loft spaces in Historic Downtown Bloomington.
