This is the second of two remaining buildings from the "Phoenix Block" a row of Italianate structures rebuilt immediately following the Great Bloomington Fire of 1855.
It houses a thriving restaurant and three floors of beautiful apartments.
The upper two floors of this building have been restored and converted to beautiful, large apartments. Click Here to see the photo gallery.
Downtown Bloomington has survived three major fires, in 1855, 1901 and 1986. After the 1901 fire, the nearly rebuilt McLean County Courthouse was destroyed to it's foundation by a "cyclone".
Don't be bothered by the name change. Patrons can still get their favorite burritos until 2:00 am on weekends.
One and two bedroom apartments are occasionally available. Call Redbird Property Management at (309)454-4888 or click below.
